10 Intimate Wedding Venues in Kansas City

Copy of Rainbow-themed Desserts(2).jpg

Weddings have taken on a different shape over the course of the past year, and for good reason. With safety and health concerns at an all time high, many couples chose to postpone their weddings or opt for an elopement or far smaller and simpler wedding ceremony and reception than they originally envisioned.

To be honest, my heart has been warmed to see couples embrace these more intimate affairs so they could celebrate the beginning of their marriage with their closest family members and friends. The joy that filled the faces of each couple as they saw family and friends - many for the first time in many months - was matched only by the tearful joy of those with whom they were reunited.

While weddings are beginning to return to a semblance of normal, elopement in Kansas City will continue to grow as many couples embrace the “tiny wedding” concept.

If that’s you, you’re in luck! Today I’m sharing a list of small wedding venues in Kansas City you’ll want to tour right away.

Intimate Wedding Venues in Kansas City

1. The Brim

14150 Walker Road, Kansas City, MO 64163 | Visit Website | 816-777-6000 | Guests: 150

The Brim opened right at the start of 2020, and even with all the chaos of the past year, this venue shines brightly. With an amazing little backstory, a genuine love of marriage, sweeping green vistas, wide open sky and your choice of two ceremony spots, it’s safe to say you’ll swoon over this darling new gem of the Northland.

Choose to have your ceremony under the canopy of creation at Founder’s Square, or inside their innovative Chapel (June 15th, 2021 and later) with beautiful “garage doors” that can be open or closed, then add onsite Wedding Day Coordination if you desire.

With wedding packages ranging from free ceremonies (Yes, free - see their website for details!) to around $3K for a Saturday evening ceremony and reception, you’ll be amazed at the views and value offered here. Check your date and book a tour today; they are going to be completely booked once Kansas City couples catch a glimpse of what’s going on at The Brim.
